The new spring/summer Sleepwear collection 2012 is deliciously nonchalant!
It is an incredible wild flower garden near a small house close to a lake. Exquisite colours and nonchalance ... everything is in bloom. The CYELL Sleepwear collection for 2012 is inspired by nature, and so we see exuberant flower prints while the colour pallet is comprised of such hues as sparrow, lagoon, storm, coral, peach, and milk. This year’s CYELL Sleepwear collection is even more casual with an edgier finish, while still retaining its femininity with its eye for detail and carefully chosen colour choices and colour combinations. The spring/summer 2012 collection is typified by its powder colours combined with bright neons. The collection is an explosion of colours, colourful designs and checks. Our stars and stripes designs are reflected in the choices of materials and we offer a variety of structures. New to the collection is the use of bamboo in combination with cotton, the fabric feels silky soft and is collected in an environmentally friendly way. For the daredevils among us, the flowers can be mixed with stripes, dots, or a graphic design. The best kind of nonchalance!
THE SLEEPWEAR COLLECTION
The pieces this season are chiefly inspired by the 1970s and 1980s, so the collection flaunts plenty of sleeves cut in one with the bodice and bat wings. We also see curved shapes in the dresses', trousers' and blouses' silhouettes. The styles are looser, even oversized. Underneath, we have used soft elastic borders to create the puff-ball shapes. The message here is wear your clothing a little loose, chic, and casual. When combined with a blousy top, the trousers are often tighter and the hemlines shorter. The collection does contain straps, but shirt-like shapes are the trend.
As far as colours go, anything goes this season. The collection consists of more than reserved block colours, but includes expressive, bright colours and stylish multicolour designs. Mint is this collection's new star and it is combined with fresh sorbet colours in a large flower design. Not only flowers, but stripe and check designs play a significant role in the collection and it is the combination of these designs that give such a rejuvenating effect.
New this season is our application of designs, placed on our one-piece items. The materials we chose for the new CYELL Sleepwear collection have been expanded, and we have made use of a variety of structures. Woven cotton is combined with slub and rich, shining satins are combined with cotton/modal. A woven cotton pyjama pant in a flower design and a top made of slub cotton and a satin short with cotton/modal shirt are this season's must haves. Another item you simply must allow yourself this summer is a nightshirt in a pointelle of superfine cotton/elastane with a lace finish along the hem. Flowery bathrobes are back in the collection along with the hipster with a lingerie top.
