For the 2011 winter collection, the CYELL styling team took inspiration from the world around us. In this way we see aspects of culture from outside of our country's borders and the colour palette inspired by the worldly influences and nature. These sources of inspiration are combined with the constantly growing need to create a warm and comfortable 'home'. In the formulation of this new collection, CYELL has followed its heart, and this can be seen in the subtle use of little hearts and refined design. A sense of purity, an eye-catching design and an exceptional eye for detail distinguish the CYELL winter Sleepwear collection. This winter's must-haves are the lingerie tops which are too pretty to bury under clothes, and can thus be worn like normal tops. No night-time wardrobe is complete without a nightdress with twisted satin details. This winter you can also look your best in bed!

THE SLEEPWEAR COLLECTION

The 2011 winter collection stands out through the use of rich new colours inspired by nature and the high 'wow' factor created through the combination of colour and beautifully worked-out designs. The collection consists of long and short-sleeved pyjamas, nightdresses, tunics and fashionable underclothes and is available in sizes XS through XXL.

The ‘Jasmin’ pattern is a feminine multi-colour floral print with Japanese influence repeated in two colours in the various colour themes. ‘Ornament’ is a pattern with an ornament motif inspired by Celtic forms and flowers. The pattern is executed in a darker version with warm cocoa and purple tints and a brighter red version with coral and vivid red. Polka dot prints ‘Polka’, ‘Dotty’ and ‘Confetti’ are used both as detail and in the overall pattern.

The ‘Lounge Lovers’ colour theme consists of neutral pastel tints such as Ivory and Dove combined with more accentuated Raspberry and purple tints such as Mauve and Plum. ‘Pure Delight’ has an artistic and extravagant palette with cheerful, vivid colours such as orange, deep red and coral. Darker tints of blue are also part of this colour theme. ‘Mystic Morning’ is filled with fairytale-like, mysterious colours such as Lilac, Sweet, Shark and Violet: in short: a varied use of colour.

The collection is made from fabrics of different qualities, the emphasis on materials that fall in a supple manner. New this winter is the 100% modal quality, which is delightful to wear, falls beautifully and has a lovely shine. Besides the finish and details, crochet and exceptional lace are very striking, while silk ribbons are worked through the collection in a very special way.

This season there are more references to the Homewear collection, as the patterns from the Sleepwear collection are also used in the finishing touches of Homewear items. Examples of this are edging or an inside pocket.
